Two More New Brewers!
If you like a lot of variety, and if you like tasting new beer, we have great news. We have two more new brewers for the Maine Brewers Festival for this year. First, big news on the Maine brewers front as Bar Harbor Brewing Company is making a great resurgence, and they will be joining you at the brewfest this year. Bar Harbor is actually one of Maine’s oldest craft brewers, and they’ll celebrate their 20th anniversary next year.Next, I met Maine’s newest craft brewer, The Maine Beer Company, at the Craft Brewers Conference in Boston last April. They were about ready to brew then, and now they’re scrambling to keep up with demand as they work through the raging success of their first summer! Tasty local beer, brewed carefully, striving for sustainability, and supporting their community… a fresh addition to the Maine craft beer scene. They’ll be at the Maine Brewers Festival in November.
More breaking news, as it is now official that the first New Hampshire Brewers Festival will rock Manchester the weekend right after the Maine Brewers Festival! You’ll find New Hampshire brewers in abundance… and probably a few of your favorites from Maine (and beyond?) also. New Hampshire tickets will go on sale later this week, so check in right here. For those of you awaiting your Maine tickets, yes, they are coming! We’ve mailed a couple hundred in the past couple days, with more going out later this week. Tickets are also available right now at RSVP Discount Liquors in Portland.
